The Role

• Act as a lead in the absence of store management, overseeing daily operations.
• Provide exemplary customer service, assisting customers with locating merchandise and processing transactions.
• Manage stock, including unloading trucks, receiving merchandise, and stocking shelves.
• Maintain store presentation according to plan-o-grams and implement display programs.
• Operate the cash register, handle payments, and ensure accurate cash handling and deposit procedures.
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe shopping and working environment.

What You'll Need

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for transactions.
• Knowledge of cash handling, security, and safety policies and procedures.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer and team interaction.
• Experience operating an IBM cash register and handling transactions.
• Ability to read and interpret plan-o-grams for merchandise placement.
• High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory experience is a plus.
