Licensed Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinician
LPC • LCSW • LMFT • LAPC • LSW

Tides of Change Behavioral Health Services, LLC
1406 Third Avenue, York, PA 17403
W-2 Employee or 1099 Independent Contractor
Flexible scheduling: You pick-work 4 or more hours per week

Build a clinical career that reflects you.

You’ve worked hard to become a clinician. You deserve a practice that values your judgment, encourages your interests, and supports the professional you want to become.

At Tides of Change, we support clinicians in developing their own clinical voice, expanding their expertise, and building sustainable, fulfilling careers. As a clinician-owned practice, we understand the value of professional independence alongside meaningful support and connection.

We’re growing—and we’re looking for clinicians who want to help shape what comes next.

Our vision includes a wider range of counseling services and treatment options for adults, children, couples, and families. Whether you love individual therapy, want to develop a specialty, or have an idea for a group or intensive, we welcome your creativity.

Bring your expertise. Explore your next interest.

No single approach fits every client—or every clinician. We welcome evidence-based treatment approaches and thoughtful ideas that expand access to individualized care.

Your role could include:

  • Providing individual, couples, family, or group counseling.
  • Developing therapy intensives or specialty treatment programs.
  • Leading psychoeducational groups, workshops, or skill-building seminars.
  • Offering trainings or participating in community initiatives.
  • Pursuing advanced training, specialty certifications, or opportunities in supervision.

Have an idea you’ve been waiting to bring to life? Let’s talk about it.

Independence with support behind you.

Build your professional identity while having access to the resources of an established practice. We offer:

  • Administrative, billing, and credentialing support so you can devote your attention to clinical care.
  • Marketing tailored to your interests and expertise, including a paid individual Psychology Today profile.
  • Social media, graphic-design, and promotional support for your services, groups, workshops, and intensives.
  • Opportunities for consultation, collaboration, supervision, and professional development.
  • Support for continuing education and specialty certification goals.
  • Opportunities to explore program development, networking, outreach, or supervision based on your interests and role.

Your level of involvement can reflect your goals. There are options for involvment in community events and outreach for those interested.

Create a schedule that fits your life.

Start with about four hours per week, build toward a full caseload, or find a balance in between.

Your ideal schedule might include weekly therapy appointments, a monthly couples intensive, or a seasonal grief group. We want to help you build a sustainable role that keeps you connected to the work you enjoy.

Clinicians are asked to offer at least one evening or weekend scheduling option within their chosen availability.

Positions are primarily in person at our York office. Telehealth-only arrangements may be considered for clinicians with specialized certifications, advanced training, or expertise in a particular modality or clinical area.

Choose the arrangement that fits your goals.

  • 1099 independent contractor: Receive 70% of collected payments.
  • W-2 employee: Competitive compensation based on licensure, experience, schedule, and responsibilities.

Specific compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.

Who we’re looking for

We welcome clinicians with an active Pennsylvania LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LAPC license. LSW applicants may be considered based on supervision needs and available arrangements.

Successful candidates will bring:

  • Compassionate, culturally responsive, inclusive, and trauma-informed care.
  • Sound clinical judgment and strong communication skills.
  • The ability to complete assessments, individualized treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge documentation within required timeframes.
  • Professional boundaries and a commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Current licensure, required continuing education, and applicable Pennsylvania criminal background and child-abuse clearances.

Specialty experience is valued, but not required. Areas of interest include EMDR, OCD treatment, disordered eating, sports performance and performance anxiety, couples and family therapy, play therapy, and trauma-focused care.

Help us expand what care can look like.

If you’re looking for flexibility, professional independence, and encouragement to grow your clinical interests, we’d love to hear from you.

Send your résumé and a brief introduction sharing your clinical interests—and anything you’d love to build—to:
