Who We Are

Agile Retail works with some of the most exciting brands in retail, helping them build exceptional stores, teams and customer experiences.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of the processes, stock flow and operational standards behind a busy, high-volume retail environment.

This is a role for someone who loves organisation, structure and efficiency - and understands that brilliant store operations are what allow the customer-facing team to perform at its best.

The Operations Manager Role

You’ll own the operational rhythm of the store, ensuring stock, systems, processes and people work together efficiently.

From deliveries and inventory management through to compliance, scheduling and daily routines, you’ll create the structure behind a fast-moving retail operation.

What the Operations Manager Will Be Doing

  • Leading the day-to-day operational performance of the store

  • Managing stock flow from delivery through to the shop floor

  • Ensuring deliveries are received, processed and replenished efficiently

  • Maintaining accurate inventory and strong stock control processes

  • Leading and developing the operations team

  • Planning workloads and deploying resources effectively

  • Maintaining excellent organisation and standards across back-of-house areas

  • Supporting scheduling, payroll and other key store administration

  • Ensuring operational routines, policies and procedures are consistently followed

  • Supporting health and safety, loss prevention and compliance requirements

  • Identifying operational challenges and implementing practical solutions

  • Working closely with the Store Manager and wider management team to support trading priorities

  • Creating efficient processes that allow the customer-facing team to focus on delivering great service

About the Operations Manager

You’ll be highly organised, process-driven and comfortable managing a significant volume of activity.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Previous retail operations or stock management experience

  • Experience within a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Strong stock management and inventory control knowledge

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail

  • Confidence managing competing priorities and tight deadlines

  • Strong people leadership and delegation skills

  • A practical, solutions-focused approach

  • Confidence using retail systems and operational data

  • The ability to build clear routines and hold others accountable to them

  • Flexibility to work across weekdays, evenings and weekends
