Senior Data Engineer

Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines powering products across brands like Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book. You will architect cloud-based data platforms, optimize data models for analytics and machine learning, and ensure data quality, reliability, and security in a high-volume telecommunications and media environment. Partner with data scientists, product, and engineering teams to deliver performant, well-documented solutions that support real-time insights, experimentation, and reporting for global automotive customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines
• Architect and optimize cloud-based data platforms and warehouses
• Develop reliable ETL/ELT processes and data models for analytics and MLEnsure data quality, governance, security, and documentation
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers on data solutions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve pipeline performance and reliability
• Implement best practices for testing, CI/CD, and version control in data projects
