Job Description

Job Title:  Functional Platform Advisor – Manhattan Active OMS & WMS
Location :  Dallas, TX - Remote role ( But Occational travel required for meetings)    
Duration :  6 - 12 Months  

Role Overview :  We are seeking a Functional Platform Advisor to bridge warehouse and order management operations with IT delivery. This is not a technical configuration role. The focus is on translating business requirements into scalable Manhattan Active WM and OM product solutions aligned with global standards and templates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture and translate operational requirements into scalable WM and OM solutions.
  • Challenge business requests and promote standardization and fit-to-template solutions.
  • Distinguish genuine operational requirements from customer-specific preferences.
  • Conduct GAP analyses and recommend practical, product-aligned solutions.
  • Avoid unnecessary customization and support reusable platform capabilities.
  • Support functional design, testing, deployments and go-live activities.
  • Lead training and knowledge sharing across operational and project teams.
  • Collaborate with Operations, IT, Product Owners and implementation partners.

Required Experience:
  • At least 5 Years of experience in warehouse operations, WMS/OMS implementation or functional advisory.
  • Strong operational understanding of warehouse processes and end-to-end order flows.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Manhattan Active WM and solid exposure to Manhattan Active OM.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable product and system solutions.
  • Confidence to challenge stakeholders and influence fit-to-template decisions.
  • Experience with GAP analysis, QA, SIT, UAT and go-live support.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally approximately one week every four to six weeks.
