Job Description

Heating Engineer - ASHP We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join may clients team in York. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient design, installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems within residential and commercial properties. This permanent, full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our commitment to high-quality service in the building and construction industry.

Responsibilities:

Design the heat pump system following a survey of the customers property<br />Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.<br />Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and ensure optimal performance of heating equipment.<br />Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.<br />Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.<br />Keep accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.<br />Stay updated on the latest industry developments, technologies, and best practices.Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in heating engineering or a related field minimum Level 3 NVQ<br />Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to various job sites.<br />Level 2 NVQ in plumbing and heating<br />NICEIC unit 4, "Level 3 Award in Low Temperature Heating and Hot Water Systems in Dwellings<br />At least 1 years experience fitting air source and ground source heat pumps<br />Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role working with heat pumps.<br />Strong understanding of heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.<br />Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<br />Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benifits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays<br />Company sick pay<br />Private Medical Insurance<br />Family supportive policies, with enhanced maternity and paternity leave available.<br />Generous pension scheme<br />Life AssuranceServices advertised by Gold Group are those of an Agency and/or an Employment Business.<br />We will contact you within the next 14 days if you are selected for interview.
