Job Description

Job Title: School-Based IT Trainee - Expression of Interest (EOI) Only

Job Summary:

  • Gain a Certificate III in Information Technology (ICT30120) upon completion
  • 12 month duration, Office hours, 1-2 days per week
  • Must be currently attending Year 11 or 12 in a Tasmanian-based school

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a School-Based IT Trainee. This role is an expression of interest only, as we are currently gathering potential candidates for future traineeship opportunities. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to complete an accredited qualification while gaining practical experience in data entry and general administrative tasks within the engineering industry.

Skills:

- Basic understanding of computer systems and software

- Strong problem-solving abilities

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Willingness to learn new technologies and concepts

Responsibilities:

1. Assist senior IT professionals with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
