The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment such as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders.
• Load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive equipment to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Stack, move, and organize containers efficiently and safely.
• Perform pre- and post-use equipment inspections to ensure operational readiness.
• Communicate effectively with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is strictly required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
