Industrial Engineering Manager

Industrial Engineering Manager Poole, Dorset Circa £75,000 Lead manufacturing improvement. Develop a team. Make a measurable impact on the factory floor. We're looking for an Industrial Engineering Manager to lead an established function and improve productivity, labour efficiency, capacity and manufacturing flow.

This is a hands-on manufacturing leadership role focused on how products are made and how production performs. It is not a design engineering management position. You'll work closely with Operations, Production, Quality and Supply Chain to deliver improvements in quality, cost and delivery.

You'll also support the introduction of new products and equipment into production.

What you'll do as Industrial Engineering Manager Lead, coach and develop the Industrial Engineering team.<br />Use manufacturing data, work measurement and labour standards to identify improvement opportunities.<br />Improve factory layouts, material flow, line balance and capacity planning.<br />Lead Lean and continuous improvement projects, tracking measures such as productivity, labour utilisation and OEE.<br />Support new product introductions, automation and capital investment projects.

What you'll bring as Industrial Engineering Manager Experience leading industrial or manufacturing engineering teams in a low to medium volume, high mix environment.<br />A strong understanding of assembly operations, manufacturing processes and Lean improvement.<br />Experience in automotive, drive systems or related mechanical or electromechanical products.<br />The ability to turn analysis into practical improvements and engage people across a business.<br />Knowledge of manufacturing simulation software or digital factory modelling would be an advantage.<br />A dregree level or quivalent in an engineerring or manufacturing discipline If you enjoy leading people and solving real production challenges, we'd like to hear from you.
