Scheduler / Project Coordinator

Swansea | £32,000 - £34,000 + Benefits | Permanent

Reed Business Support is delighted to be working on behalf of a growing specialist business operating within the construction and fire protection sector. Due to continued expansion, our client is looking to appoint an organised and proactive Scheduler / Project Coordinator to join their team in Swansea.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple moving parts, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in finding solutions when priorities change.

The Role

As a Scheduler / Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring engineers and installation teams are deployed effectively across multiple live projects.

Working closely with customers, site managers and operational teams, you will manage work schedules, coordinate resources, communicate updates and ensure projects remain on track.

No two days are the same. This role would suit somebody who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships and keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling engineers and installation teams across multiple projects.
  • Managing daily and weekly work plans.
  • Liaising with customers, site managers and internal departments.
  • Coordinating changes to schedules and reallocating resources when required.
  • Ensuring engineers have all necessary job information and documentation.
  • Monitoring project progress and maintaining accurate scheduling records.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders regarding changes and updates.
  • Resolving scheduling conflicts and identifying practical solutions.
  • Supporting wider project coordination and operational activities.

About You

We are interested in speaking with candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience within scheduling, planning or coordination roles.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Confidence managing competing priorities.
  • Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Experience from any of the following sectors would be highly advantageous:
