Job Description

  • Closing Attorney – North Carolina & South Carolina*

  • Location:* Multiple Offices Throughout NC & SC
  • Position Type:* Full-Time
  • Travel:* Regular travel between six office locations
  • Bar Admission:* Must be licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina

  • About the Position*

We are looking for an exceptional *Closing Attorney* to join our team and serve as the face of our real estate closings throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.

This is a unique opportunity for an attorney who genuinely enjoys working with people. You will be responsible for conducting real estate closing ceremonies at our six office locations and will travel between offices as needed. This position is *exclusively focused on conducting closings*—we are looking for someone who loves the closing table, connecting with clients, and making the closing experience memorable.

The ideal candidate is not only an excellent attorney, but also someone who brings warmth, personality, energy, and confidence into the room.

  • What You'll Do*
  • Conduct residential and commercial real estate closing ceremonies in North Carolina and South Carolina.
  • Travel between our six office locations to conduct scheduled closings.
  • Explain closing documents and legal matters clearly and confidently to buyers, sellers, lenders, agents, and other parties.
  • Create a positive, professional, and welcoming closing experience for every client.
  • Ensure closings are conducted accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable NC and SC laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with our internal closing teams, real estate agents, lenders, and clients to ensure a smooth closing process.
  • Handle questions and unexpected issues at the closing table with professionalism, patience, and good judgment.
  • Represent the firm with enthusiasm and professionalism at every closing.
  • Bring energy and personality to what can otherwise be a stressful and complicated experience for clients.

  • The Person We're Looking For*

We are looking for someone who is *more than just a great attorney*. Our ideal Closing Attorney is:

  • *Personable* – You genuinely enjoy meeting and talking with people.
  • *Charismatic* – You can walk into a room and immediately put people at ease.
  • *Kind and humble* – You treat everyone with respect, regardless of their role in the transaction.
  • *Patient* – You understand that buying or selling real estate can be overwhelming and you take the time to explain things.
  • *Funny and personable* – You know how to appropriately use humor to make a closing more relaxed and enjoyable.
  • *Energetic* – You bring enthusiasm to the closing table and don't treat every closing like just another appointment.
  • *Confident* – You can command a room without being intimidating.
  • *Professional* – You understand that you are representing the firm and creating an important client experience.
  • *Adaptable* – You can handle different personalities, offices, transactions, and unexpected situations with grace.
  • *A great communicator* – You can take complicated legal concepts and explain them in a way that ordinary people understand.

In short, *we want an attorney who people will remember for the right reasons.*

  • Qualifications*
  • Active license to practice law in *both North Carolina and South Carolina*.
  • Experience with real estate transactions and/or real estate closings strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of residential real estate closing procedures.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable speaking to groups and conducting closing ceremonies.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly between six office locations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to maintain a professional, positive, and energetic demeanor throughout the workday.

  • Why This Position Is Different*

This isn't a traditional attorney position where you're expected to spend your day buried in a file or behind a desk.

  • You are the person clients see at the finish line.*

You get to meet the buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders, answer their questions, celebrate their big moments, and make sure they walk away from the closing feeling confident and cared for.

If you are the kind of attorney who can explain a deed, make a nervous first-time homebuyer laugh, calm down a frustrated seller, congratulate a new homeowner, and still make sure every document is properly executed—you may be exactly who we're looking for.

  • Apply*

If you are a *North Carolina and South Carolina licensed attorney* who loves real estate, loves people, and brings personality and positive energy to everything you do, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Come help us make closing day the best part of the real estate experience.*

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
