Business Development Manager

The Role

Join a profitable, family-run manufacturer experiencing double-digit growth as a Business Development Manager covering Yorkshire and the North East. You'll grow sales of high-quality industrial lubricants into manufacturing markets including glass, petrochemical and marine.

This is a consultative field sales role, involving site surveys, identifying customer requirements and developing tailored proposals. You'll also work with an established distribution network at branch level. As you develop, there is the opportunity to move into international sales, with around one week of international travel per quarter.

Requirements

  • Technical field sales experience within industrial/manufacturing markets, ideally MRO
  • Consultative, problem-solving approach
  • Ambitious and interested in international sales
  • Full UK driving licence

The Package

50,000- 53,000 DOE + uncapped monthly commission ( 7k first year), 500 car allowance, generous mileage, 5% pension, life assurance and 25 days' holiday + bank holidays.
