Who are we?

DPD UK isn't just a delivery company; we’re tech-driven innovators on a mission to be the most sustainable delivery partner in the UK. With a £2 billion turnover and a focus on green energy, we’re looking for people who care about the planet and the people on it. We’re also proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and part of the Valuable 500.

The Vibe: Your Role as Fleet Ambassador

You aren't just checking vans; you’re the "Guardian of the Fleet." You'll ensure our tech and vehicles are safe, legal, and looking sharp. You're the person who keeps the operation moving smoothly and safely.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Tech-First Inspections: Use our vehicle app to track the condition of our fleet.
• The Safety Pro: Ensure all 3.5T vans are within weight limits and pull any vehicles that aren't up to standard (VOR).
• Problem Solver: Help drivers report defects and ensure they’re fixed ASAP.
• Site Management: Keep the depot flowing safely, managing traffic and equipment like fuel pumps and jump packs.
• Brand Boss: Make sure our drivers are rocking the DPD uniform and the vans are sparkling.

Weekly Focus:

• Stay organized using Google Calendar to track vehicle notices.
• Collaborate with the Transport Team to review any outstanding repairs.
• Manage stock (lights, mirrors, etc.) and keep our HGV fleet data accurate.

Are you the one?

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in the details and doesn't need someone breathing down their neck to get the job done.

• Organized: You’ve got a system for everything.
• Resilient: You can handle "main character" energy and tough conversations with confidence.
• Adaptable: Change doesn’t phase you—you pivot and keep going.
• Values Driven: You vibe with our DNA: Passion, Respect, Honesty, and Caring.

The Perks (More than just a paycheck)

We know life is about more than work. That’s why we offer:

• Work-Life Balance: Holiday trading and Milestone Days Off to celebrate life’s big moments.
• Health & Wellness: Access to Vitality at Work, health kiosks, and Help@Hand (mental & physical health support for you and your family).
• Saving Money: Up to 5% off your supermarket shop and discounts at 100s of retailers.
• Future Proofing: Free life assurance and a solid pension scheme.
• Growth: We don't just offer jobs; we offer careers. We love promoting from within—show us your potential, and we’ll help you level up.
