We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Carterton Vets on a full-time basis.
Carterton Veterinary Surgery is a small animal practice based in Carterton, Oxfordshire. We are a small team of 2 full-time vets, 4 RVNs and a Practice Manager.
Carterton is a small town with a variety of shops, restaurants and a weekly market, all set in an idyllic location with a diverse culture and close proximity to RAF Brize Norton. Oxford is around a 30-minute drive away via the A34, and beautiful Cotswold villages are right on our doorstep, making Carterton a great place to live and work.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Working Pattern
* Full-time, 40 hours per week
* Working 4 days a week
* 1 in 8 Saturday mornings
General Responsibilities
* Assisting Veterinary Surgeons during surgical procedures
* Running nurse clinics and providing client education
* General nursing duties, including maintenance of laboratory equipment
* Anaesthetic monitoring and perioperative patient care
