ServiceNow Application Developer (W2 ONLY)

Introduction:

This position is for a ServiceNow Application Developer who will be responsible for being the main subject matter expert for the new ClearBrook Service Now instance at a growing Commercial Insurance company in Albany, NY. This is a contract-to-hire role where the developer will play a key role in leading complex implementations and architecture decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex implementations and architecture decisions for the ServiceNow platform
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications to meet the needs of the organization
• Utilize advanced JavaScript skills and knowledge of the Glide API, ServiceNow data model, platform security, ACLs, scoped applications, and integration patterns
• Work on Flow Designer, Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server concepts, platform automation, and enterprise system integrations
• Act as a senior technical owner, balancing hands-on development, solution architecture, stakeholder alignment, platform governance, and delivery execution
• Ensure compliance with ServiceNow certifications and relevant industry standards

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and platform engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or a related field
• Advanced JavaScript skills with strong knowledge of the Glide API, ServiceNow data model, platform security, ACLs, scoped applications, and integration patterns
• Proven experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server concepts, platform automation, and enterprise system integrations
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required

Preferred Skills:

• Certified Application Developer (CAD) strongly preferred
• Relevant Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications highly desirable
• Experience with Git, ATF, or DevOps tools in ServiceNow
