Job Description

Role Summary
Seeking a Senior Data Analyst with extensive expertise in Snowflake, healthcare data domains, and advanced analytics. This role involves designing data solutions, developing complex SQL queries, and preparing enterprise data assets to support AI, machine learning, and data science initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, healthcare data knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake, ensuring data architecture aligns with enterprise standards.
  • Develop complex SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, dynamic SQL, and stored procedures for data retrieval and transformation.
  • Implement data governance, security, and RBAC policies to protect sensitive healthcare data.
  • Assist in building and maintaining enterprise data models, data warehouses, and metadata management frameworks.
  • Conduct data profiling, anomaly detection, and data quality assessments to ensure high data integrity.
  • Support source-to-target mapping, data lineage, and metadata documentation to facilitate data traceability.
  • Collaborate with healthcare domain experts to understand claims, member, provider, and health plan data structures and requirements.
  • Develop data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure accurate and complete data for analytics use cases.
  • Facilitate data standardization, metadata design, and MDM strategies to enhance data consistency across systems.
  • Contribute to building AI-ready data sets through data preparation, profiling, and quality assessment.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience with databases, including 3+ years specifically with Snowflake.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data, including claims, member, provider, and health plan data.
  • Extensive experience with SQL development, complex joins, stored procedures, and dynamic SQL.
  • Strong knowledge of data architecture, data governance, and metadata management.
  • Hands-on experience with data profiling, anomaly detection, and data quality scorecards.
  • Familiarity with data models such as star and snowflake schemas, source-to-target mapping, and data lineage.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning data preparation techniques.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data security practices.

Publishing Pay Range: $45.00 - $52.00 Hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
