Risk Control Tester - EL 1

• Labour hire contract until August 2027 with scope for a further 3 months extension
• Experience in fraud and corruption control in a Commonwealth context
• Minimum Negative Vetting 2 clearance

Our Federal Government client is seeking an EL1 Risk Control Tester to support activities that help prevent, detect, and manage fraud and corruption risks within a complex and regulated environment.

The organisation is required to take all reasonable steps to prevent, detect, and manage fraud and corruption risks through the implementation of an effective fraud and corruption control program. This role will be responsible for assessing and testing the effectiveness of fraud and corruption controls in accordance with the ISPFF Fraud Control Testing Framework, helping to strengthen organisational resilience and support compliance obligations.

The successful candidate will possess demonstrated expertise in fraud and corruption control within a Commonwealth Government context and hold a minimum NV2 security clearance.

Skills and Experience

• Strong experience in risk testing, assessment, and management, with the ability to identify, evaluate, and communicate operational, financial, strategic, and compliance risks.
• Skilled in analysing large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and emerging risks, delivering actionable insights to support informed decision-making.
• Effective at working with multidisciplinary specialist networks to solve complex problems, share expertise, and deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes.
• Committed to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry and regulatory changes.
