Job Description
DUTIES SHALL INCLUDE: Supports the development and implementation of QC methodologies to ensure compliance with QA standards, guidelines and procedures in a logistical based organization. Supports the development and definition efforts of major and minor characteristics of quality including quality metrics and scoring parameters and determines requisite QC resources for an actual effort. Maintains a process for evaluating QC methodologies to comply with standards, capture data generated by new mission set like equipment work orders, life cycle maintenance, AARs, QC messages, pending work orders with open item follow ups, scheduled parts replacement, Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS)/MMIS data management, and trends analysis. Conducts and/or participates in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development cycle. May perform duties and responsibilities as the assistant to the MEMO.
Minimum/General Experience: 10 years of medical logistics field experience with six years of specialized medical materiel management and quality assurance management experience. Specialized experience shall include: general supply activities, ordering, receiving, quality assurance management, trend analysis, quality assurance data management, customer support, inventory management, assemblage management, warehousing, and operation of various materials handling equipment. The specialized experience shall be in a healthcare or healthcare support environment or setting. Must have experience in using and running transactions in the MMIS.
Minimum Education Requirement: Associate degree or higher.
