About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Certificate Management Engineer to lead the implementation and optimization of certificate lifecycle management capabilities within the ServiceNow platform. This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, and enhancing ServiceNow Certificate Management solutions to improve visibility, compliance, automation, and operational efficiency across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate combines strong ServiceNow development expertise with hands-on experience in certificate discovery, CMDB integrations, and platform customization.
What You'll Do

• Implement and configure the ServiceNow Certificate Management solution across enterprise environments.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain required ServiceNow plugins and supporting components.
• Configure and optimize the ServiceNow Certificate Management module to support business and operational requirements.
• Enable, configure, and manage certificate discovery processes across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external certificate authorities, discovery tools, and enterprise systems.
• Configure and maintain CMDB Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules to ensure accurate asset and certificate data management.
• Develop custom ServiceNow solutions, workflows, business rules, and automation to support certificate lifecycle management.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, and platform teams to drive adoption of certificate management best practices.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize performance, and ensure data integrity across ServiceNow environments.
• Document configurations, processes, and technical solutions to support ongoing operations and future enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow Certificate Management.
• Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including administration, configuration, and development.
• Experience with certificate discovery, lifecycle management, and related security processes.
• Expertise in CMDB architecture, data modeling, and IRE configuration.
• Experience developing custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, integrations, and automation.
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Experience with ITOM, Discovery, CMDB, and Security Operations modules.
• Knowledge of enterprise PKI and certificate management best practices.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
