Attorney - Commercial Real Estate Associate

Our client in CT is seeking a highly motivated associate attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their Real Estate practice. This role focuses on commercial real estate transactions, leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, and corporate finance, with a particular emphasis on representing business owners, investors, sponsors, developers, and franchise operators.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, and leases.

• Manage commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions from start to finish.

• Assist in structuring / negotiating corporate finance transactions.

• Represent borrowers and lenders in financing transactions.

• Perform due diligence, including title and survey review, and coordinate with lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel.

You might be the right person if you have:

• J.D. designation.

• Admission to practice in Connecticut; admission in NY/NJ is a plus.

• Must be based in or willing to commute to the Stamford, CT area.

• 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate and corporate transactions.

• Experience with commercial leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, and financing transactions.

• Familiarity with franchise-related transactions or franchise finance is a plus.
