Role Overview

About the Role

• Drive enterprise-wide data governance, data quality, metadata management, regulatory compliance and stewardship initiatives across GCP data platforms.

Data Governance Strategy & Operating Model

• Define governance policies, standards and controls.
• Establish stewardship, ownership and governance operating models.
• Drive governance adoption across business and technology teams.

Metadata Management & Data Cataloguing

• Implement Dataplex, Data Catalog and business glossary frameworks.
• Manage metadata standards and data asset catalogues.
• Improve data discoverability and self-service access.

Data Lineage & Traceability

• Implement end-to-end data lineage across BigQuery and GCP services.
• Support impact analysis, auditability and transparency.

Data Quality Management

• Define enterprise DQ framework, rules and scorecards.
• Implement monitoring, remediation and governance KPIs.

Essential Skills

• 8–14 years IT experience with Data Governance expertise.

• Strong metadata, lineage and stewardship experience.
• Experience implementing enterprise DQ frameworks.
• Experience governing BigQuery based platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
