Cloud Support Engineer

Role: Cloud Support Engineer Only locals to WA

Location: Seattle, WA

Hybrid: 3x (Two Weeks On Call Round Robin)

Duration: 12 months (Potential to convert)

Interview Process: (In person)

• 1st:  (1hr - culture, mindset & process fit)
• 2nd: In-Person (Technical)

Must: (6 - 12 Years

• Infrastructure as code  exp - Specifically within  Terraform
• AWS Support Knowledge
• Don’t need an engineer who can build applications, but someone who manage incident mgmt and understand what AWS is
• Snowflake 100% needed
• 100% must be self-sufficient, curious and hungry to learn/grow!
• Experience dealing with dozens of Incidents/Requests per day
• Team currently handles several dozen per day
• Need a permissions update, entitlement improved, How to requests, audit requests or application configuration errors, AWS outages incident responses
• Project side: Building out Sass platform to meet MS spec or AI capabilities, etc
• Communication Style is very important
• Well spoken (this is an internal support role)

Plus:

• AI Usage Exp
• Fintech Exp is a plus
• Previously worked at AWS or Amazon
• Loves hiring people who started their careers in helpdesk and/or sys admin prior to moving into cloud technologies.
• Azure (don’t need it but couldn’t hurt)

D2D:

• Tier 1 and Tier 2 Support
• Incident Mgmt, Request Routing and handling for development/production support teams who need INFRATSTRUCTURE support (troubleshoot infrastructure problems related to the cloud platforms)
• Primary focus is AWS and Snowflake
• One Nuance to the role is it is SUPPROT and ENGINEERING
