The Role

• Operate heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks efficiently and safely.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics tasks.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment according to established protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing and lifting up to 50lbs, in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays, with open availability.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
