Job Description

Staff Accountant | Harrisburg, OR, United States | On-site

The Role

  • Perform procedures related to recording business transaction activity within general and sub-ledgers.
  • Analyze and reconcile accounts, engage in process improvement activities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Support audits and analyze/document business transactions within the organization's ERP systems.
  • Handle responsibilities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll accounting, and prepaid/accrual accounting.
  • Post AR invoices, apply customer payments, and prepare/distribute customer invoices and statements.
  • Manage communication with customers on past due accounts and reconcile sales and receivable balances.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with two years of experience, or five years of experience as a Staff Accountant.
  • Detail-oriented with solid knowledge of accounting processes and technology systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with payroll and inventory accounting is beneficial.
