Overview The Senior-Level MT Systems Engineering Specialist performs a variety of expert technical management and systems engineering duties throughout the Resilient MW/MT program lifecycle. In support of the Space Systems Command (SSC) SYD 84/MT programs at LA AFB, CA, this role directly supports Senior Program Managers (SPMs) by advising and managing all pre- and post-contract award technical requirements. Responsibilities * In this role, you will manage pre- and post-contract award technical requirements and execution, including ICD compliance, risk management, and T&E oversight. * You will interact with a multidisciplinary DoD technical workforce and defense hardware contractors in the accomplishment of your duties. * You will evaluate architectural strategies and support the SPM in preparing for critical reviews, including PMRs, QPRs, and Congressional inquiries. * Responsibilities and tasks will also include: * Providing direct Systems Engineering support for Epoch 1/2. * Ensuring alignment of technical execution with established systems engineering plans and architectures. Skills Required * At least 10 equivalent years of experience performing Systems Engineering activities in the government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit / non-profit government support / development Contractor arena. * Knowledge of various quantitative techniques used to analyze technical data, develop models, interpret results, and brief senior-level DoD leadership. * Must be able to work independently, as well as with a team, on time-sensitive high-visibility tasks. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. * Demonstrated knowledge of technical management, risk management, and systems engineering practices associated with Major Defense Acquisition Programs. * Active DoD Secret Clearance (required). * US citizenship (required). * Salary range: $95,000 - $120,000 / Year, DOE Education Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
