Java Developer

Location- San Jose, CA 95134
Client- Novalink- County of Santa Clara - Department of Tax and Collections (DTAC)
OBJECTIVE

Design, develop, and maintain full stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework,

Hibernate, and React.

TYPICAL DELIVERABLES

• Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable system integrations.
• Deploy and manage applications on Apache Tomcat and cloud environments.
• Build containerized applications using Docker and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and database queries in Oracle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, QA, and
• DevOps.
• Write automation and scripting solutions for building, deploying, and operational tasks.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Backend: Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate
• Frontend: React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Database: Oracle, PL/SQL
• Application Server: Apache Tomcat
• Integration: REST APIs, JSON, Web Services
• DevOps: Docker, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud: AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform
• Scripting: Shell scripting / Python / automation scripting

AI: Claude or similar AI Tools.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with microservices architecture

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development

Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration

Experience with performance tuning and scalable architecture
