Engineer-Equipment - II

Location: Rocklin, CA Salary: $45.00 USD Hourly - $55.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a Telecom Equipment Engineer in Rocklin, CA
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for Engineering and Design support of all equipment for multiple project types. Supporting the equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics. Creating Material Requests. Forecast future needs based on project start dates. Ensure proper tracking of all components. Monitor all equipment expenditures. Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment.

Equipment Procurement & Optimization. Oversee equipment receipt and acceptance. Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members. MUST HAVE SKILLS
3-5 years of experience in equipment engineering, telecommunications, or a related technical project role. Hands-on experience with equipment order logistics, component tracking, and managing the end-to-end receipt and acceptance process. Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

DESIRED SKILLS

Telecom Infrastructure Familiarity:

• Knowledge of wireless network hardware, cell site equipment, transport systems, or power equipment relevant to Client's infrastructure.

Supply Chain & Enterprise Software

• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft, or specialized logistics software).

Process Optimization

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate procurement workflows and implement efficiencies in equipment utilization and ordering.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Capability to analyze logistics and expenditure data to improve forecasting accuracy and project reporting.
