Job Description

The Developer Experience (DevEx) organization provides SDLC capabilities across Global Technology. As part of a multi-year AI in SDLC program, this team owns the product roadmap, development, and maintenance of DevEx applications used by technology leaders to gain actionable insights on AI usage across teams. We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III (Full Stack) with strong Python and modern JavaScript expertise to build enterprise dashboards, analytics platforms, and high-performance web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Django/Python and Svelte and/or Angular.


• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services to support dashboards and reporting solutions.


• Build intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces.


• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX, architects, and developers throughout the application lifecycle.


• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions.


• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues through root cause analysis.


• Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of full stack application development with Python and modern JavaScript frameworks.


• Strong Python and Django development experience.


• Hands-on experience with Svelte and/or Angular.


• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.


• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and microservices.


• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software architecture.


• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and NoSQL databases including MongoDB.


• Proficiency with Git and GitHub and source control best practices.


• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, and SSO.


• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.


• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.


• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience integrating AI/ML or Generative AI services.


• Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.


• Knowledge of Splunk, Dynatrace, or other monitoring platforms.


• Experience with accessibility standards such as WCAG.


• Exposure to Banking or Financial Services applications.


• Experience developing executive dashboards and analytics solutions.
