  • This role is crucial to the sucess of the Corporate Contracting Team within the Global Sales Organization, part of the Customer Division.
  • The effective candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated and organized. They must have the ability to prioritize daily responsibilities and projects to meet or exceed deadlines to improve speed to market as well as simplifying our contracting documents and processes.

What you'll do
  • Creates, analyzes, and validates corporate contract terms in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and Contracting (PRISM, Icertis, Anaplan) systems
  • Validates Agency distribution information and approvals for upload into contracting tools (PRISM, Icertis)
  • Creates Corporate Travel Agreement Legal Terms, Carrier Addenda's, and associated discount terms and agency IATA locations to send via e-signature or hard copy to Account Managers and Corporation signatories
  • Transmits Agency Ticketing Instructions with corporate pricing discounts to Revenue Management/ATPCO fare filing via digital tools (Smartsheet)
  • Creates Team Site Web Reference guides for STAR files for easy access for Reservations, Airline Ticketing offices and audit teams to interpret all corporate agreements
  • Responds to pricing inquiries from internal and external customers in regards to corporate contracts, sales strategy initiatives and pricing discrepancies
  • Analyzes market data and insights to consult directly with American's Corporate Sales Managers
  • Liaises with other airline partners to improve processes and the customer experience
  • Manages multiple Ad-hoc projects for ongoing corporate initiatives in collaboration with different teams across American including Field Sales, Revenue Management, Sales Support, and Sales Operations
  • Reviews AA's contracting process, report issues and inefficiencies, and proposes actionable improvements. This task includes following up on those improvements as well as training the rest of the team.

All you'll need for success
  • Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
    • 2 years related work experience
  • Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
    • Advanced Degree
    • High level of initiative, collaboration and creative problem solving
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
    • Knowledge of Airline Sales, Revenue Management, Reservations, Operations, or Alliances
    • Ability to be collaborative, structured, and innovative with a strong balance of people and quantitative skills
  • Skills, Licenses & Certifications
    • Resourceful, creative thinker; proactive in suggesting improvements and ideas
    • Outstanding organizational skills
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with ability to understand complex, interrelated elements
    • Ability to be a self-starter who can execute multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision and prioritize opportunities
    • Ability to make independent decisions while working as part of a highly coordinated and interdependent team
    • Ability to collaborate and build consensus in team environment
    • Proficient user of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
