Full Stack AI Engineer – AI / Anthropic / React / Node.js - Remote - £90k + Benefits

Hawksworth is recruiting a Full Stack AI Engineer to join a growing technology company building a new AI-native digital platform for the Energy and Oil & Gas industry.

This is a genuinely hands-on engineering role working on a new platform that will integrate with some of the world's largest Energy organisations.

We're looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer with strong modern software engineering skills and, importantly, hands-on experience building applications using AI/LLMs, agents and LLM APIs. Experience with Anthropic / Claude would be particularly attractive.

Essential skills and experience:

• Strong Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript development

• React / Vite

• PostgreSQL

• Automated testing / TDD – ideally Jest / Vitest

• Git, pull requests and strong software engineering practices

• AI / LLM application development – agents, tools, integrations and LLM APIs, Anthropic/ Claude

• Azure DevOps / CI/CD experience

Experience across Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Entra ID, Bicep, Helm and Infrastructure as Code would be highly beneficial.

An Oil & Gas / Energy industry background
