Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage technology projects from initiation through delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, stakeholder communication, technical coordination, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage project timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of technical projects from initiation to completion.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Manage project schedules, resource allocation, budgets, dependencies, and priorities.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and develop mitigation plans.
• Communicate project status, progress, risks, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
• Facilitate project meetings, sprint planning, status reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
• Track project deliverables and ensure alignment with business requirements and organizational goals.
• Manage changes in project scope and ensure appropriate impact assessments and approvals.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with technical teams to understand system architecture, integrations, technical dependencies, and implementation challenges.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, action items, and project plans.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and team collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing technical or IT projects.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technology project delivery.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple project stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, project risks, and changing requirements.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and timely project delivery.
• Willingness to work onsite in Alameda, California.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certification.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience managing enterprise technology implementations, software development, or system integration projects.
• Familiarity with project reporting, KPIs, risk management, and stakeholder management.
