Job description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Data Center Construction Manager
Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 8 months
Location: Rayville, LA
As a Data Center Construction Manager, you will:

  • Lead all onsite data center construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Manage large-scale structured cabling, low voltage, fiber optic, and telecommunications infrastructure installations in mission-critical environments.
  • Develop and maintain 5-week look-ahead schedules, labor forecasts, project phasing plans, and daily production tracking.
  • Coordinate with project management, procurement, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to support successful project execution.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, system validation, OTDR testing, power meter verification, and quality assurance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with ANSI/TIA, BICSI, NEBS, OSHA, and customer-specific standards and requirements.
  • Identify design discrepancies, field conflicts, RFIs, and change management requirements while driving timely resolution.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop field supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors while promoting accountability and craftsmanship.
  • Manage large field teams of 100+ personnel, including workforce planning, performance management, and technical coaching.
  • Serve as the primary onsite liaison for clients, participating in site walks, construction meetings, milestone reviews, and technical discussions.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture through jobsite audits, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 8+ years of supervisory experience on largescale structured cabling or data center construction projects.
  • Experience managing large, dispersed field teams (100+).
  • With strong Data Center Connectivity, ISP, and Fiber construction experience
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Data center?new build?or retrofit experience.
  • Experience working with?union telecom crews?and labor compliance.
  • Certifications like OSHA30, BICSI Technician (TECH) and BICSI RCDD

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $66 - $76 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
