Job Description

Business Systems Analyst, PRM

Location: Pleasanton, CA (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term contract

The Role

We are seeking a high-caliber PRM Business Systems Analyst to serve as the functional BSA/PO of our Partner Relationship Management ecosystem. You won’t just be managing fields; you’ll be defining how our partner network engages, co-sells, registers deals, and scales within our broader ecosystem. You must possess a deep understanding of the business mechanics behind channel operations, partner tiers, lead/deal distribution, and partner incentives, paired with the technical savvy to know when to use out-of-the-box features versus custom builds.

You will partner directly with the Partner Operations team to translate ecosystem needs into clear technical requirements, author the backlog, coordinate testing efforts, and drive the future state of our partner-facing tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ecosystem Process Engineering: Help with optimization of PRM workflows, including Partner Portal access, deal registration, lead routing, tiering logic, and co-selling.
  • Requirements Translation: Collaborate closely with Partner Operations and cross-functional teams to translate high-level partner program strategy into actionable technical user stories and system requirements.
  • Technical Advisory: Provide expert guidance on the capabilities and limitations of PRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Experience Cloud/PRM) to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between Partner Ops, Channel Sales, Revenue Ops, and IT to align system capabilities with overarching business and partner lifecycle goals.
  • System Ownership: Support the end-to-end lifecycle of PRM enhancements—from initial discovery and workflow mapping to UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Core Expertise: Proven experience as a BSA focused on PRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Experience Cloud/PRM) with a track record of bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Channel Acumen: Deep understanding of partner ecosystem business mechanics (e.g., Deal Registration rules, Channel Conflict prevention, Partner Portal UX, MDF/Co-op funding, and partner onboarding lifecycles).
  • Modern Tech Stack: Familiarity with the broader Revenue Operations tech stack (Salesforce CRM, CPQ integrations, PRM ecosystems) and how partner systems integrate into core sales and billing tools.
  • Problem Solver: Ability to navigate trade-offs between "out-of-the-box functionality" and "business-specific needs" to build efficient, scalable solutions for external and internal users.
