Were looking for an experienced Compute & Storage Solution Architect to support a major infrastructure transformation and modernisation programme for a leading global organisation. The role will focus on designing and shaping the future of the organisations on-premise compute and storage environment, working closely with engineering teams to turn architecture into delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop High Level Designs, reference architectures, standards and technical roadmaps.
  • Design enterprise compute, storage, virtualisation and hyperconverged infrastructure solutions.
  • Provide architectural expertise across Nutanix AHV, Prism Central and Dell enterprise storage.
  • Design highly available, resilient and recoverable infrastructure, including backup, DR and cyber resilience.
  • Support OpenShift/Kubernetes and hybrid cloud infrastructure architectures.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, Infrastructure as Code and platform optimisation.

Key skills & experience:

  • Strong Nutanix experience, ideally including AHV and Prism Central.
  • Enterprise Dell Storage experience PowerStore, PowerScale, PowerMax or ECS.
  • Strong understanding of compute, virtualisation, HCI and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Experience across DR, backup, resilience and high-availability architectures.
  • Knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience within large, complex or highly regulated organisations is highly desirable.
