Job Description

(Sales Operations Analyst, Revenue Operations, Sales Support Specialist, Commercial Operations, Deal Desk, Sales Enablement, CRM Coordinator, Salesforce, Payments, Merchant Acquiring)

Sales Operations & Enablement Coordinator (Contract)
Payments/Financial Services

The role
Our Sales & Operations Processes team keeps the commercial engine running so our Relationship Managers can focus on clients and growth. We're looking for a sharp, proactive Sales Operations Coordinator to act as the go-to operational support for a sales organisation of around 70 senior Relationship Managers and VPs.

You'll be the person who keeps Salesforce accurate, moves contracts through approval, and makes sure our sales leaders understand and use our systems and processes properly. It's hands-on and varied. It suits someone who enjoys being the expert others rely on.

This is not a Salesforce Administrator role. We need a strong Salesforce user who can manage data, support users and coach others, not configure the platform.

What you'll do

  • Salesforce data & hygiene: Upload contracts, update account and contact records, maintain clawback records, and run regular reviews to find and fix missing or outdated data.
  • Supporting & coaching the sales team: Act as the first point of contact for RMs and VPs. Show them how to open and track contracts, check data accuracy and follow sales processes. Run walkthroughs and support onboarding of new joiners.
  • Contract workflow: Submit and track contract requests through Zip, Oracle and Salesforce. Follow up with Legal, Supplier Operations and approvers to clear bottlenecks.
  • Data analysis & reporting: Use Excel and Google Sheets (XLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts) to validate merchant volumes, audit the pipeline and pull performance metrics.
  • Operational execution: Order test cards, test Salesforce updates before release, and gather inputs for internal deal review and governance packs.
  • Knowledge library: Build and maintain a central library of master decks, process guides and job aids so the team can quickly find what they need.
  • Audit readiness: Keep activity logs and documentation in order, and resolve gaps raised in internal audits.

What you'll bring

  • 2-5 years in sales operations, revenue operations, commercial support or a similar role. Payments, banking or financial services is a strong plus.
  • Solid hands-on Salesforce experience as a power user: updating records, managing data, running reports.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Exposure to contract or procurement tools (Zip, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba or similar). Snowflake or Tableau experience is a bonus.
  • Confidence working with and guiding senior stakeholders, plus persistence in chasing people politely.
  • A service mindset: you make sales colleagues' lives easier rather than policing them.
  • The ability to work from partial information and figure out the rest independently.
  • Natural organisation and attention to detail. You document what you do.
  • Comfort using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to work faster

Client is based in London, working Hybrid 3 days a week on site. Role is within IR35. Please send CV in first instance to be considered.
