The Role
• Create, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and operational procedures.
• Develop and maintain detailed Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support project management and compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather technical information.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current systems.
• Maintain records of revisions, version control, and documentation repositories for accessibility.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology environment.
• Proven ability to understand and translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation.
• Experience developing and maintaining POA&Ms or similar project plans is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
