Warehouse Operations & Facility Setup Supervisor

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations & Facility Setup Supervisor to lead the setup, layout, and operational launch of a new offsite warehouse facility in Las Vegas, NV. This role will transform an empty facility into a fully functional storage, staging, and logistics operation supporting retail, events, and venue operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead warehouse layout and setup using 5S/Lean principles, optimizing storage zones, material flow, staging, and traffic patterns.
  • Oversee warehouse move-in, shelving, heavy equipment, FF&E, shipping/receiving, QC, office, and breakroom setup.
  • Manage vendors and contractors for waste management, recycling, pest control, power, data, lighting, surveillance, and other facility services.
  • Establish inbound/outbound logistics, freight dock scheduling, box truck operations, local routes, and warehouse-to-venue transportation.
  • Develop storage and staging plans for Retail, F&B, Events, and Operations, including seasonal inventory and live-event requirements.
  • Oversee forklifts, box trucks, warehouse equipment, and related maintenance plans.
  • Support implementation of WMS, barcode/RFID tracking, inventory systems, digital timekeeping, IT, security, and access-control systems.
  • Develop SOPs, emergency action plans, contingency procedures, and business continuity workflows.
  • Implement warehouse safety, security, badging, surveillance, PPE, and access protocols.
  • Support team training and ensure the facility is fully operational and ready for opening.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse setup, greenfield facility launches, logistics, retail, live events, entertainment, or similar environments.
  • Strong experience with warehouse layout, 5S, Lean/continuous improvement, and operational planning.
  • Experience managing freight, dock scheduling, box trucks, local transportation, and inventory movement.
  • Experience with WMS, inventory tracking, barcode/RFID, or digital warehouse systems.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving history.
  • OSHA 10 certification and forklift certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong vendor management, leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended hours during launch.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work comfortably in a warehouse environment.
