  • Train and mentor junior metrology technicians and prioritize inspection activities against project deadlines.

  • Follow applicable ISO 13485, FDA, cGMP, and laboratory documentation requirements.

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams to resolve measurement issues.

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • 4-12 years of hands-on metrology and dimensional inspection experience.

  • At least 2 years of CMM programming and execution using PC-DMIS.

  • At least 2 years of OGP SmartScope vision system programming.

  • Strong understanding of complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and ASME Y14.5.

  • Experience with Keyence measurement systems and optical inspection equipment.

  • Knowledge of structured-light or white-light scanning, such as GOM ATOS or equivalent.

  • Experience with Gage R&R, MSA, calibration, and measurement data analysis.

  • At least 2 years in a regulated industry; medical device experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA requirements, and cGMP documentation practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with strong measurement calculations and trigonometry skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Geomagic, PolyWorks, VG Studio, or similar digital metrology software.

  • Associate degree in a STEM field, or equivalent laboratory experience; alternatively, a bachelor's degree in engineering technology or mechanical engineering.

  • Experience training or mentoring technicians.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and cross-functional engineering workflows.
