What would you do?

Role - Python PySpark Developer

Location - Mclean, VA (5 day onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

- We are seeking a skilled Python PySpark Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Angular, PySpark and cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
• Design, build, and optimize batch and real-time data processing workflows.
• Implement ETL and ELT processes to ingest, transform, validate, and load data.
• Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Optimize Spark jobs for performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Develop reusable data transformation frameworks and engineering solutions.
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, files, message queues, and cloud storage.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and governance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark and Angluar.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience developing ETL or data processing pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with file formats such as CSV, JSON, Avro, and Parquet.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts.
• Experience working with distributed computing and large datasets.
• Familiarity with Git and software development lifecycle practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
