Job description

Work Schedule:

1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week. This is an Day/Evening position, working 2 shifts of 7am-7:30pm and 2 shifts of 7:00am-3:30pm per week. Weekend and Holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.

Pay:

UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.

You may be eligible for a $3000 sign on bonus.

Additional components of pay include:

-Weekend differential

-Evening differential

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to:

  • Be a supportive partner with Registered Nurses on the unit.

  • Provide direct physical care and basic nursing procedures and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. NAs will assist with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, patient mobility, and intentional rounding.

  • Interact and engage with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship to provide high quality care.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of State of Wisconsin approved Nurse Aid Training Program Required
Work Experience
  • 1 year of recent experience as a Nursing Assistant Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire Required
  • BLS/CPR certification within 3 months Required
