Backend/API DeveloperLocation: Chicago, USYears of Experience: 5-7 YearsJob Summary: We are seeking a skilled Backend/API Developer with expertise in driving end-to-end business analysis across Commercial, Consumer, Mortgage, and Business Lending product lifecycles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mapping and optimizing business workflows, gathering requirements, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project outcomes.Responsibilities:Drive end-to-end business analysis across various lending product lifecycles.Map and optimize business workflows for Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan Servicing (LSS), underwriting, and collections.Elicit, document, and manage detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Analyze party models, Customer 360 data, legal entity hierarchies, and borrower relationship structures.Collaborate with risk teams to capture requirements for credit risk scoring, collateral management, and regulatory compliance (CECL, CCAR, IFRS9).Partner with data architects and IT teams to define business rules for APIs, real-time credit decisioning, and data integrations.Define reporting, dashboarding, and KPI requirements to support business intelligence and portfolio analytics.Mandatory Skills:Advanced knowledge in Banking & Wealth: Wealth Management, Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Customer 360 Ecosystems.Advanced understanding of security, privacy, and data protection.Advanced skills in analytics, reporting, and AI/ML data foundations.Advanced experience with cloud data platforms (Azure and AWS).Advanced knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance (CCAR, Basel, IFRS9, CECL).Preferred Skills:Experience in BFS-Capital Markets (Deal Breaker Skill).Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5-7 years of relevant experience in backend development and API integration.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
