Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to lead the strategic direction and execution of our drop ship catalog platform. You will balance hands-on product work with leading a small team of engineers, assessing current processes, design a comprehensive process improvement plan and architect scalable database solutions that support both immediate operation needs and long-term strategic growth. This is a high impact role combining process mapping, data engineering acumen and enterprise product thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit and map current catalog data processes end-to-end; document pain points, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies affecting third-party product data quality and ingestion
Develop a comprehensive process improvement plan that prioritizes quick wins and establishes a phased roadmap for systematic optimization
Design and specify database architecture and data models that handle catalog scale, support current workflows, and enable future enhancements
Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate technology solutions, data pipelines, and integration patterns for catalog ingestion and syndication
Lead a small product and engineering team; set goals, mentor team members, and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making
Define success metrics, KPIs, and data quality standards; establish monitoring and governance frameworks
Engage stakeholders across supply chain, product, operations, and business teams to align on priorities and adoption strategies
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural decisions that scale with business growth
Preferred Qualifications:
3-7 years of product management or engineering experience in data-heavy domains, supply chain, or enterprise systems
Strong technical foundation: comfortable reading and discussing database schemas, SQL queries, data modeling, and API design
Proven experience mapping business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and designing process improvements
Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets, understand data lineage, and architect scalable solutions
Experience leading or mentoring cross-functional teams; strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication skills; ability to translate between technical and business language
Experience with catalog management systems, master data management (MDM), or product information management (PIM)
Familiarity with database technologies: relational databases (e.g PostgreSQL), data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery), or ETL platforms
Background in supply chain, procurement, inventory management, or third-party vendor data systems
Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement frameworks)
