IT Support Specialists with Security Clearance

MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented IT Support Specialists to join our team in Oahu Hawaii and Dallas Texas. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Approves and monitors the technical support workflow for a diverse range of hardware and software platforms.
• Coordinate the resolution of escalated technical issues involving network connectivity and enterprise applications.
• Authorize the distribution of IT assets and the maintenance of detailed equipment inventories for organizational accountability.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of Information Technology and Security Groups within a regional distribution framework.
• Coordinate technical assistance for forward-deployed personnel to ensure the continuous availability of critical mission systems.
• Validate the setup and maintenance of secure IT infrastructure required for large-scale military exercises in the Pacific.
• Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

NOTE: Multiple levels of seniority are available based on qualifications and experience. Please see below.

Minimum Qualifications: Senior Level

• High school diploma and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (A bachelor's degree may be substituted in lieu of 2 years of additional experience).
• Professional-level IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+). Mid Level
• High school diploma and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (A bachelor's degree may be substituted in lieu of 2 years of additional experience).
• Foundational IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+). Junior Level
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification.
• Ability to follow established technical SOPs and maintain accurate technical records.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ years of position-relevant experience.
• Experience working in a military IT help desk or network operations center.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting military-unique software and hardware.

Clearance Required

• Must hold an active Secret Clearance Physical Requirements:
• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
