Job Description

• Responsible for managing and maintaining a diverse and complex IT infrastructure.
• They ensure the availability, performance, and security of systems across multiple platforms, including Windows and Linux servers, VMware virtual environments, and cloud services such as AWS or Azure. The Systems Administrator applies ITIL best practices to manage incidents, problems, and changes effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
• They perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance while troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly.
• Additionally, they collaborate with other IT teams to implement automation and optimization strategies, maintain detailed documentation, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Requirement

• Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with 8 years of experience in systems administration for Windows, Linux, or VMware environments.
• Possesses excellent knowledge of relevant operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Red Hat, CentOS) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere, ESXi).
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) and experienced with system monitoring, patch management, and performance tuning.
• Demonstrates excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and maintain currency with industry trends and best practices. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, RHCSA, RHCE, VMware Certified Professional - VCP) and familiarity with the client IT environment, regulatory requirements, and data security best practices are preferred.
