Snowflake Lead

Required Skills

·         10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platforms.

·         4+ years of hands-on Snowflake development and administration experience.

·         Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, administration, advanced SQL, and dimensional modeling.

·         Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, performance tuning, security, and cost optimization.

·         Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.

·         Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and production support.

·         Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design and develop Snowflake data warehouse solutions, data models, and ETL/ELT pipelines.

·         Administer Snowflake environments, databases, schemas, warehouses, users, roles, and permissions.

·         Optimize query performance, resource utilization, and platform costs.

·         Implement data security, governance, masking, encryption, and access controls.

·         Manage data sharing, replication, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.

·         Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation.

·         Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

·         Explore advanced Snowflake capabilities, including Cortex AI and Snowflake Horizon.

Preferred Skills

·         Python and automation tools such as Terraform or Bash.

·         Knowledge of Snowflake Horizon, Cortex AI, and Data Sharing.

·         SnowPro Core Certification.
