Job Description

GovCIO LLC seeks a Senior Enterprise IT Change Specialist to lead and mature IT change management across complex federal environments. You'll own end-to-end change governance, from intake and impact analysis through approval, release coordination, and post-implementation review. Partnering with engineering, operations, security, and program teams, you'll run CABs, assess risk, manage dependencies, and ensure compliance with ITIL and federal standards. In our mission-driven, collaborative culture, you'll drive continuous improvement, enable safer, faster delivery, and support high-impact government modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end IT change management across enterprise systems supporting federal programs.
  • Run Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and enforce change policies and standards.
  • Perform impact, risk, and dependency analysis for infrastructure, application, and cloud changes.
  • Coordinate with release, operations, security, and engineering teams to plan and schedule changes.
  • Maintain accurate change records and configuration data in ITSM/CMDB tools.
  • Monitor change success metrics and drive continuous improvement of change processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, security, and audit requirements for technology changes.
  • Communicate change plans, outages, and risks to technical and business stakeholders.
