AI/ML Engineer

Job Title: Information Technology - AI/ML SME AI/Machine Learning Subject Matter Expert III

Job Description: 1. 7+ years of industry experience in software engineering, data science, or machine learning, including technical leadership experience.
2. 2+ years of hands-on experience building and delivering Generative AI/LLM solutions, preferably production applications.
3. Proven experience architecting and operating large-scale production software, AI/ML systems, and/or data platforms.
4.Strong understanding of LLMs, embeddings, RAG, prompt engineering, context management, and modern GenAI architectures.
5. Hands-on experience building reasoning models via post-training techniques supervised fine-tuning (SFT) on chain-of-thought/reasoning traces and reinforcement learning (RL) methods (e.g., RLHF, RLVR, PPO, GRPO, DPO) including reward/verifier design and evaluating gains in multi-step reasoning.
6. Strong Python skills and experience with modern AI/ML and GenAI frameworks and tooling.
7. Experience with cloud-native architectures and production deployment of scalable applications.
Strong understanding of GenAI evaluation, testing, monitoring, security, and responsible AI practices.
8. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate complex technical decisions to both engineering and executive audiences.
9.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field.
