Senior Lead IT Installation Technician

Leidos seeks a Senior Lead Installation Technician to manage complex IT and network system deployments for mission-critical government and commercial customers. In this role, you will plan, lead, and execute on-site installation, configuration, and integration of hardware, cabling, and related infrastructure while ensuring adherence to security, safety, and quality standards. You will diagnose and resolve installation issues, coordinate with engineering and project management, document configurations, and mentor junior technicians. This position offers the chance to support high-impact national security and critical infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead installation of complex IT and networking systems at customer sites
• Configure, test, and integrate hardware, cabling, and related infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with security, safety, and quality standards
• Diagnose and resolve installation and integration issues
• Coordinate schedules, resources, and site readiness with internal and client teams
• Document installation procedures, configurations, and test results
• Train and mentor junior technicians and installers
• Collaborate with engineering and project management to refine solutions
• Provide on-site customer support and status reporting
