Position: Water Resources Senior Engineer
Location: San Luis Obispo, California
Pay Range: $129,000 - $166,500 depending on experience

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Resources Senior Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and delivering water resource projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing innovative solutions to complex challenges. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage water resource projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions for water management and conservation.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to water resources.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute projects.
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project requirements and progress.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in water resources engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and water resource management principles.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, and GIS tools.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
