Job Description

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER - INTERNAL CREATOR TECHNOLOGY

COMPANY : STEVEN.COM

REPORTING TO : Director of Innovation, Internal Tech Products (ITO)

LOCATION: LONDON

ABOUT STEVEN.COM

Steven.com is building the operating system for the creator economy, forecast to pass a trillion dollars by the early 2030's. This industry is currently held back by fragmented tools and a lack of professional infrastructure. Steven.com is the unlock. We are the end-to-end Operating System designed to scale what is irreplaceably human. We have built proprietary technology and obsessed teams to identify and scale the highest-potential creators across our core pillars:

  • Creator Media: Amplifying reach, influence, and trust

  • Creator Community: Transforming audiences into connected tribes

  • Creator Products: Providing creators with the infrastructure to build and back aligned products and ventures

  • Powered by Creator Tech & Intelligence: A proprietary data and technology suite that fuels smarter decisions and drives innovation across the entire flywheel

ROLE MISSION

Our Internal Creator Technology function builds the tools that power the business itself. This role owns the internal products used every day to research, produce, publish, grow audiences, and turn attention into revenue - from spec through prototype, launch, and adoption. You'll find the problem before anyone writes a ticket for it, build alongside engineers and creative AI builders, and treat adoption (not launch) as the real measure of success.

KEY OUTCOMES

  • Build a live, evidence-backed view of where time, money, and quality are lost across production, post, audience, community, commercial, and ventures teams.

  • Own internal products end-to-end: problem statement, spec, prototype, launch, adoption, and iteration - including the scope, sequencing, and kill calls.

  • Build AI-native by default: agentic workflows, generative media pipelines, and retrieval over the company's own content and knowledge, evaluating and rebuilding as better tools emerge.

  • Instrument usage and drive adoption as a product problem, reporting on hours returned, workflows retired, and revenue influenced.

  • Partner with the VP of Engineering & Applied AI and Head of Data Intelligence so internal tooling, external product, and the data layer reinforce each other.

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Demonstrable track record shipping products end-to-end as the person accountable for the outcome.

  • Deep hands-on fluency with AI tooling - you've built with LLMs, agentic workflows, or generative media models yourself.

  • Comfortable in the technical detail: querying data, reading a system diagram, engaging with implementation trade-offs.

  • Real discovery instincts: sitting with users, observing work, finding the problem behind the request.

  • Strong written communication - a spec engineers build from, a note a producer or commercial lead acts on.

YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF

  • You start from the customer's problem and work backwards, even when they're asking for a specific feature.

  • You believe adoption is the only real launch metric - shipped and unused is not shipped.

  • You default to building the smallest thing that proves the idea, without compromising future scalability.

  • You have taste - you know the difference between technically correct output and output a team would put their name on.

  • You move fast, make decisions with conviction, and update your views when the evidence changes.

IDEAL BACKGROUND

  • Experience building for internal or professional users, where adoption is earned rather than mandated.

  • Range across creative and commercial workflows — credible in both rooms, same day.

  • Preferred: generative video/audio/image pipelines in production, tools for growth/sales/partnership teams, or building internal platforms/creator tooling from zero.

  • Genuine fluency in how content actually gets made and monetised, or strong interest in media, podcasting, video, or the creator economy.
